Counselling
Counselling provides a safe space to explore issues and challenges that we face in life. These issue may range from internal struggles with self-confidence, anxiety, depression and anger management to relational issues with conflict and abuse. Alternatively one may seek to explore deeper existential issues around meaning, purpose and how to live a purposeful life.
Through a series of non–judgemental empathetic meetings we seek to develop inner strength and tap into your potential to seek outcomes and solutions that server you best.
Short Term Solutions Focused Therapy
Short term work focuses on specific issue that you bring. Often clarifying the issue at hand in itself can bring relief. Following on from this the questions that presents is what would be a "good" outcome for you. Holding this outcome as a reference and context for our work we then explore how you can find ways to support yourself and move forward.
Longer Term Therapy
Longer term therapy may be required when deeper issues and trauma need to be worked through. Integrating wounded parts of ourselves can take time and this is where long term therapy can be deeply supportive.
Therapeutic Approach
We are trained in Psychosynthesis. A holistic approach that acknowledges both the personal and transpersonal. In includes our mind, feelings and respects the wisdom in our bodies. It chooses not to instruct but acknowledges client's latent potential. We also use visualisations, drawing and music if appropriate to uncover hidden material whilst exploring ways that allow you to find some peace with the issues that challenge you.
